Dr. Eduardo “Dusty” Luna who specializes in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. Dr. Luna is originally from Edinburg, Texas who attended Texas A&M University in College Station for his bachelor degree in Nutrition and Molecular Sciences. After completing college, he was accepted and obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC)
at Houston in 2013.

Subsequently, Dr. Luna pursued his Internal Medicine internship and residency at UTHSC San Antonio (RAHC) in Harlingen, TX under program director, Dr. James Hanley. He was part of the first class of graduating IM residents in the inaugural period for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2016. Given his interest in Endocrinology, he proceeded to apply and completed his fellowship program at UT Health San Antonio under program director, Dr. Jan Bruder in the summer of 2018.
